Part of Companion Animal Advocate of Bertie’s advocacy mission includes connecting people to the tools they need. We support responsible pet ownership and will share any free or low-cost resources.
CAABertie will continue to add to our toolkit of pet ownership resources as we identify new programs available to pet owners. Communication is a fundamental part of advocacy.
We intend to share all resources with other Bertie-based animal rescue organizations, animal control, veterinary offices, the Bertie County Board of Commissioners, and local municipalities within Bertie. We hope that a collaborative approach will help spread the word. With determination, we will reach our mission of pets living better lives.
Although our mission is to help companion animals, we will also provide resources to help tackle other animal-related concerns, such as:
Stray cats (funding for individuals to deal with a feral cat colony).

We are grateful for every penny. 100% of all donated funds go to our programs. We are volunteers and do not collect salaries or have expensive office space. You will make a direct impact on helping us build a culture of kindness for animals.
